The bodies coincide with those who have disappeared from the call centers

Guadalajara. – The Jalisco Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that there was a coincidence of bodies found in the valley, in Zapopan, with some of the disappeared from call centers.

This is what the agency said to the relatives at a meeting they held this afternoon at the facilities of the Special Prosecutor for Missing Persons.

However, the institution responsible for seeking justice has specified that corresponding opinions have not yet been issued at the Galician Institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF), to determine that they disappeared between May 20 and 22 in Zapopan.

“In an exchange of preliminary information, they coincided with the physical characteristics of some of the young men being sought, which have been made available to relatives and we will wait for the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences to issue corresponding opinions confirming our identity of the bodies,” the agency said.

Investigations into the case led the public prosecutor’s office to the valley in a section between the Mirador Escondido and Potrero de la Coronilla neighborhoods, where the public prosecutor’s office has been operating since Tuesday.

The Eastern Prosecutor’s Office added that the search for remains in that area had not been completed.

He explained that “the extraction in the aforementioned area has not been completed and the work will continue until the collection of evidence is completely exhausted, even in conditions complicated by depth and steepness, with the participation of different institutions working in a coordinated manner.”

When asked about the meeting, the families of the disappeared preferred not to comment.
