Hermosillo. – Carlos López Carrillo reports that the aesthetic medicine regulation bill promoted by the College of Cosmetic Physicians of Sonora on Thursday will be introduced to the plenary session of the state congress.
The College President handed this proposal on Wednesday night to Ernestina Castro Valenzuela, Morena Seat Coordinator, who will be responsible for presenting the initiative.
Dr. Carrillo Lopez expressed the importance of regulating aesthetic medicine to eliminate malpractices that endanger people’s health and lives.
“We’re doing this so that physicians are supervised, and that our patients can be certain that they are seeing a physician who is well-trained, has appropriate facilities, and has operating licenses,” he said.
In turn, Representative Ernestina Castro Valenzuela commented that the proposal will be socialized with members of the Health Committee and other legislators, as well as specialists and society in general.
He added, “We will analyze it with the health sector and legal fields, with the Bar Association so that it is an initiative based on sound foundations and good care in the legal sense.”
