Maria de Pilar Martinez of Aragon, head of the Federation of Hidalgo State Private Schools (FEPEH) This afternoon announced details Sixth edition of the National Exact Sciences Olympiad in Pachuca.
It will be organized by the National Association of Private Schools Incorporated in the SEP (Aneppi), which she also chairs, and in which four schools from Hidalgo will participate.
Also participating are schools from Baja California, Chiapas, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, State of Mexico, Jalisco and Puebla, “There will be 28 teams and a total of 120 students who will be part of this Olympic Games supported by the Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Mexico (CobarMEX) of Hidalgo.
He said, “We want young people to find a taste for exact sciences, and this event aims to test the knowledge they acquire in their schools. We are happy that Pachuca is hosting this event in which young people with better averages participate.”
For his part, Gonzalo Amarante Vazquez Zavala, Treasurer of the City of Anepe, noted that secondary school students are “capable of innovation”, so this event encourages them to continue discovering their love for science.
This is how this ambitious project will begin on Tuesday, at 3:00 pm at the Tec de Monterrey facilities, as the test is applied to the participants; On Wednesday they will present themselves at the Autonomous University of Hidalgo (UAEH), where they will conduct a lab experiment, and on Thursday, the final will take place, starting at 9:00 am in La Salle where they will present their final projects.
“We want our young people to participate in changing the country, the state, where their projects will be confirmed so that in the future they can be used to improve the life of society,” concluded Vazquez Zavala.
