As indicated by the Spanish Basketball Federation, this draw, which will take place from 1:30 pm Spanish Peninsula time, has several conditions such as the absence of three European, American or Asian teams in the same group.
Groups A, B, C and D will play in Manila. Groups E and F will play in Okinawa (Japan), and teams G and H in Jakarta (Indonesia). The first two will go to the second stage where they will meet the two qualifying matches from the group that will play the first stage at the same venue. From there, the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will take place, already in the Philippines.
