Beijing, April 8 (EFE). – The most dangerous of the Chinese army’s eastern theater of operations today is the organization of military exercises around Taiwan, after the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-wen, met on Wednesday in California with the Speaker of the US House of Representatives. Representatives Kevin McCarthy.

Beijing on Thursday denounced Tsai’s stay in the United States, a country it accused of “collusion” with Taiwan, while advancing that it would respond with “firm and effective measures to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

For its part, the maritime security authorities in Fujian Province, southeast of the country off Taiwan, warned, in two statements, against conducting live-fire maneuvers in the waters near the Chinese coast of that province on the 8th, 11th, 13th, 15th, 17th and 20th of this month.
