Mallorca player Juana Chameleon, one of the two to play in the US collegiate league and the two players known as “March Madness” with Helena Puyo, continues to make history. Camilion entered the WNBA Draft and is currently the only Spaniard on the top list.
The draft will take place on April 10th and it will be imperative to see if it leads to a high placement in picking the WNBA franchises, a league in which Majorcan, Marta Fernandez, has already played as part of the Los Angeles Sparks. Camilion helped Iona University make history and the March Madness competition.
The former Bahia San Agustin player, who just turned 24, will make a decision about her future based on selection in the draft. The point guard averaged 14.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2 steals with 45% shooting from the field and 35.8% on three-pointers.
