Northern lights are seen all over the UK, even in the south of the country, which is a rare occurrence. It is expected that this phenomenon will be repeated on Monday, according to the British newspaper, “The Telegraph”.

As the astronomer at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, Tom Kerss, cited in this way, explains, the aurora borealis (or aurora borealis) occur as a result of a solar flare, in which charged particles of electricity are emitted, which in turn collide. With molecules and atoms in the Earth’s atmosphere, which causes it to heat up and make it luminous.

The Dutch news portal confirms that the aurora borealis is a phenomenon that is rarely seen in the Netherlands.
