Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel advice platform, has presented its Travelers’ Choice Awards for Best Destination, based on the reviews of millions of travelers from around the world. Cuba has been chosen as the world’s No. 1 trend or fashion destination for 2023.
This year, the destinations travelers choose include six subcategories: Popular Destinations, Trendy Destinations, Food Destinations, Best Ski Destinations, Nature Destinations, and Best Cultural Spots.
Cuba is the top destination in fashion and fashion by 2023. This category reveals the destinations with the highest annual growth in interest on Tripadvisor, indicating an increase in new points of interest.
According to a Tripadvisor statement, “Since the United States eased some travel restrictions in May, and with the addition of new direct flight routes, travelers’ appetite for Cuba on Tripadvisor has increased.
“Famous for its Old World architecture and rich history, the island offers wonderful opportunities for cultural exchange.”
Cuba is followed by Hoi An, Vietnam in 2nd place, and Mauritius in 3rd place.
“We’ve seen travel demand pick up in 2022, and the outlook for this year is promising,” said Sarah Firchen, Managing Editor of Tripadvisor.

Every year, Tripadvisor analyzes the millions of reviews submitted to its platform in the past 12 months by a global community of hundreds of millions of travelers, and its ratings are based on the opinions of those people who visited destinations last year and left reviews on the platform.
