He emphasized that in Ensenada there is a very rich scientific culture that contributes to the scientific enrichment of children, although the scientific programs offered by research centers for high school and university students allow them to attract more professions.
For example, he said, the observatory’s scientific summer, where undergraduate students such as physics, mathematics, or related careers who wish to study a graduate degree at the Institute of Astronomy are received.

Engage women
Likewise, she laments that because of the culture, expressions that refer to science as being said are only for men, but seeing women who have been able to play an important role in science is also motivating for girls.
For this reason, she added, there are programs that specifically seek to get girls involved in science so they know that they, too, can do science and work in science.
“It’s affecting, it’s important and the people who win awards, who go to NASA who are women, who are an example for women, for young people who are paving the way and who should be motivated in this field of science, it’s and it’s a very important topic.”
