British four-time Olympic champion Ben Ainsley, general manager and patron of INEOS Britannia, explained that he finished the latest edition of the trophy “without confidence” in his “design tools”.
“We made major design decisions in the last cup using our own design and simulation tools, and they weren’t precise enough.”
