He considered that Vietnam should focus on maintaining macroeconomic stability while actively and flexibly dealing with rapid developments in the world, which is essential to maintaining economic growth.
The famous researcher explained that strengthening the macroeconomic base lies not only in fiscal and monetary policies, but also in addressing obstacles in the economy and effectively harnessing all social resources.
The director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy finally emphasized that this would make it easier for Vietnam to soon switch to a new growth model thanks to science, technology and innovation.
The Vietnam Economic and Society Forum 2022, which meets with the theme of “Strengthening the Macroeconomic Base, Promoting Sustainable Recovery and Development”, was opened on Sunday by the Speaker of the National Assembly (Parliament) Phuong Dinh Hue, who praised its significance. .
Quoting the Voice of Vietnam, the legislator said that this meeting constitutes an opportunity to gather information and recommendations aimed at devising solutions that allow strengthening the macroeconomic base and supervising financial and monetary policies, as well as social and economic policies.
He stressed that in this way the negative effects can be reduced and development opportunities can be taken advantage of.
The forum, which brought together about 400 scientists, specialists, ambassadors, heads of international organizations and representatives of domestic and foreign companies, is an important component of the implementation of the country’s economic recovery and development program.
At the same time, as per the official conception, it contributes to the construction of buildings to move forward and successfully disseminate the goals of the five-year development plan for the 2021-2025 phase.
