The Hanover Insurance Group has appointed Francisco Aristgueta as a member of its board of directors

Hanover Insurance Group.announced the appointment of Francisco Aristgueta as a new member of the company’s Board of Directors.

Aristguita is currently the Special Counsel for State Street Corporation, a leading provider of financial services to institutional investors worldwide, having recently stepped down as Executive Vice President, as an accomplished CEO with extensive experience in banking and financial services.

Aristeguieta has held various positions since joining State Street in 2019, including CEO of State Street Institutional Services and Executive Vice President and CEO of State Street International.

Prior to joining State Street, Aristeguieta held several key executive positions during his 25-year career at Citigroup Inc. and most recently as CEO of Citigroup Asia Pacific, the region’s leading global bank in retail, institutional and broad financial services.

During his time at Citigroup, Aristeguieta also served as CEO of Citigroup in Latin America, led Citigroup’s global transaction services group in Latin America and Mexico, and was CEO of Citigroup Colombia and Head of the Andean Group of Countries in the organization, among other important positions.

Aristeguieta He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Metropolitana in Venezuela and an MBA from Brunel University in the United Kingdom. He began his career as a financial analyst in Petróleos de Venezuela and emerged as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco de Chile.
