Nvidia is expected to release its next-generation GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs later this year, but a new leak is giving us a sneak peek at the potential performance of these long-awaited graphics cards. According to Twitter Leaker @kopite7kimi, Nvidia’s RTX 4090 desktop GPU scored over 19,000 points in the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme synthetic benchmark test. If accurate, this leak makes the RTX 4090 Nvidia’s fastest gaming card to date, nearly doubling the benchmark RTX 3090 and beating the current leader, the cooled EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin Edition LN2, at 30%.

However, the source has a respected track record, and previous rumors suggest that the next GPU may be able to make such significant gains.
