“We deeply appreciate all those who have taken steps to renovate the athletics track that will change the lives of our athletes,” Avellaneda said, stressing the government’s support. “It is the first time that a minister has learned about our work,” he stressed.
The sports director confirmed that when the work is completed, an Argentine or South American championship can be organized.
“This government reaffirms the commitment to sports in Salta, these works are essential to the development of local athletes,” Peña said, also noting that the Caci track also benefits national athletes who choose this venue due to its special geographical conditions.
In this regard, the mayor said, “We are very pleased that today, thanks to the support of the county government and the national government, is a project that we have worked on together that will allow us to renew our athletics track to welcome national and international athletes, which will also generate a great economic movement in our municipality.”
The Cachi High Performance Center is a reference in terms of preparing Argentine and international athletes due to the natural conditions it provides by having an athletics track located at an altitude of 2,530 meters above sea level. This fact distinguishes it and stands out above the other facilities available in the national territory. The commit signed on Friday includes replacing the current folder.
