Banco Santander has opened the Work Café in Plaza D’Espanya in Palma de Mallorca

With this center, there are already 70 centers opened by the entity throughout Spain: 51 on campus and 19 in urban centers. It is the second working coffee shop in the Balearic Islands.

Today Banco Santander has opened a new business café, in Palma de Mallorca, specifically in the Plaza de España, 1. This space has an area of ​​more than 450 square meters spread over two floors, with 4 meeting rooms, co-working areas and a cafeteria. The office will consist of a team of 8 people.

With this opening, there are now 70 business cafés that the bank has spread across Spain, 19 of which are located in urban centers and another 51 on campus. This is the second business café that the Bank has opened in the Balearic Islands, which already has one on the University of the Balearic Islands campus. Business cafés in Spain already have more than 190,000 active customers and receive an average of 180 visits per day.

This new branch concept was born in Chile in 2016 and is already present in ten countries where Grupo Santander is present: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Portugal, United Kingdom, Poland, United States, Jersey and Spain. The first office of this kind in Spain opened its doors in 2018 in Madrid, on the Plaza de Sagrados Corazóns. Currently, Grupo Santander already has 157 centers of this type distributed all over the world and continues with its expansion plans.
