Strengthening medical care in Tapachula and Huixtla

As a result of the supervisory visit of Dr. Celida Duque Molina, Director of Medical Benefits, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Chiapas will promote and implement various strategies to address the areas of opportunity for the Family Medicine Unit (UMF) No 11, in Tapachula; District General Hospital (HGZ) No. 1 “New Frontier”, and District General Hospital with Family Medicine (HGSZMF) No. 19, in Hoekstle.
During the supervision of the Medical Units Level I and II, he was accompanied by the Director of Medical Benefits Dr. Enrique UrreƱa, President of the Institute in Chiapas; Roberto Sanchez Moscoso, Head of Medicinal Benefits Division; Dr.. teacher Fabiana Maribel Zepeda Arias, IMSS Technical Nursing Coordinator; The directors of the institute in the state.

At UMF No. 11 in Tapachula, the Medical Benefits Manager visited the areas of preventive medicine, diabetes, family planning, outpatient counseling, and the Respiratory Care Social Security (MARSS) unit.
Later, Celida Duque visited the old facilities of District 1 General Hospital, where IMSS Chiapas plans to install the metabolic console.

Dr. Celida Duque also supervised HGZ No. 1 “Nueva Frontera”, verifying the operability of the dialysis, emergency, internal medicine and obstetrics areas.
There, the owner stressed the importance of teamwork to resolve areas of opportunity, which she promised to provide timely follow-up, in order to better interest the rights holders.
To finish visits to the units measured, the Medical Benefits Manager traveled with her staff to Huixtla Municipality to visit HGSZ/MF No. 19, where she highlighted the good work of the staff.
