Graduates of Forest Engineering, Plant Biotechnology Engineering and Natural Resource Conservation Engineering, along with MSc and PhD students in Forest Sciences, receive their certificates and awards In a passionate ceremony held at the University Theater, attended by the Rector of the University, Carlos Saavedra Rubilar; Dean, Manuel Sanchez Ollet, representatives of the forestry sector, academics, guests and family members.

On behalf of the graduating engineers, Gabriela Ulloa Barrientos de Forestal was responsible for delivering the official farewell address.

The ceremony began with a deep thought from the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Sciences, Manuel Sanchez, who said: “This ceremony is to thank the professionals who received their degrees today, the MA and Ph.D. graduates, as well as the staff and the university authorities. who were with us in the difficult times we had to live. Today we wanted To acknowledge your efforts, your family’s efforts and the efforts of Concepcion University.We’ve been through two years of an epidemic, and we’ve been surviving.With some scars but they’re stronger.

In a special way this year, the College of Forestry Sciences recognized the campus guards’ unconditional commitment and dedication, for their unconditional support in difficult times, a key factor in the academic process and operation of the College. The Dean, Manuel Sánchez Ollet, acknowledged the work of Director of Public Services, Alejandro Tudela, and the following: Saúl Fernández, Luis Godoy, Cristián Godoy, Alex Moenne-Loccoz, Rubén Segura and Eduardo Yáñez.

Forest Engineering, Biotechnology, and Natural Resource Conservation Engineering have distinguished their graduates, awarding UdeC’s Director of Teaching, Caroline Fernandez, in recognition of the academic excellence of Fabiola Lille Monsalvez, while the Executive Director of Centro Integral de Restauración de Ecosistemas and CIRE and Concepción Sur’s Regional Adviser, Javiera Vargas, Catalina Reyes Carcamo Integrated Student Award.
