‘Background Test’: Documentary starring Ines Melkor wins Best Film in Brazil

Documentary “Proof in the background” starring the long-distance runner Huancavelican Ines Melkor s Their filmmakers fought for two years to get it over, won Best Feature Film at the 5th CineEsporte Sports Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The meeting – which featured films from countries such as France, Russia, Portugal, Belgium, Mexico, UK, US, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil – took place in person from December 15-20.

CineEsporte is an important offering of sports-related audiovisual production. As the best short film, the award went to the Brazilian production “Dunas do Papa”, a documentary that tells about the relationship of various women to football.

In this version, films were presented with themes focusing on disciplines such as basketball, athletics, synchronized swimming, football, boxing, figure skating, kickboxing, cricket, chess and auto racing.
