This year’s contenders feature a strong representation from female filmmakers, with the three most-nominated films directed by female filmmakers.

More than 180 critics from print, electronic and television media have voted for this year’s nominations, which were brought up by British actors Joanna Vanderham and Guillem Lee.

The ceremony will take place on February 6, 2022 at the May Fair Hotel in London.
