Everything is ready for the ATP Cup, the first tennis tournament of the 2022 season | Sports

The ATP Cup will start on January 1, 2022. The tournament, which will bring together tennis players from 16 countries, will begin on the ATP Tour tournament schedule and the event’s organizers revealed more details about the competition.

In the first place, it was determined that the participating countries would be divided into 4 groups, which would consist of the same number of teams.

Thus, the first group consists of Serbia, Nogueira, Chile and Spain. The second group includes Russia, Italy, Austria and Australia. For their part, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States will form Group C, and finally, Greece, Poland, Argentina and Georgia will face each other in Group D.

After the corresponding matches, the top teams in each region will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament and the final will be held on January 9.

Novak Djokovic, Daniel Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Janek Sener, Casper Ruud and Diego Schwartzman will be among the players who will compete in the ATP Cup.

On the other hand, this tennis tournament will be held at Ken Rosewall Arena and Qudos Bank Arena. Both sports venues are located in Sydney, Australia.
