The woman from Leeds (UK) was able to collect four and a half kilograms of Luca’s hair, taking advantage of the fact that the Samoyed was moving, and 2.5 kilograms of Keeshond, a Keeshond was also moving. With Luca’s hair, Parker sewed a full cap and with Keisha’s hair he took pompoms out of the scarf.

This idea sounds crazy and could only happen to a semi-retired design consultant, like Michelle Parker, but the truth is, the original idea isn’t hers. The British discovered the incident of a person on Facebook.

The 54-year-old followed Andrea Devine on Facebook, a textile expert from Essex, UK. Devine specializes in making quirky keepsakes for pet owners out of their dogs’ fur, and she commissioned him to buy a whimsical scarf worth €216. Furthermore, Michelle Parker herself admitted that she knew Andrea Devine would have ensured her scarf would be 100% of her pet’s hair without mixing it with other fabrics such as wool.

He also commented to the newspaper MirrorFor Parker, it was important to keep this memory of my pets. “I already knew about Andrea’s work when I saw her at Crufts, and in her suite I saw that she was wearing a scarf and a hat and I loved them both,” Michelle explains.
