Those who were not born in the UK make up 37% of London’s population, while non-British people make up 22%.

An Office for National Statistics spokesperson indicated that factors such as the UK’s exit from the European Union, as well as the pandemic, may have influenced the behavior and decisions of foreigners living in the UK.
