Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez will return to the ring in early November when he faces an undisputed title battle against the undefeated American Caleb Plant.
The pound-for-pound King of Mexico has traversed the super middleweight division like a steam train since returning to 168 pounds in December.

Canelo dominated Callum Smith to take his WBA title and win the vacant WBC.
He then hit the obligatory Avni Yildirim who passed in February and suspended Billy Joe Saunders with a fractured eye socket in May.
With the BJS victory, Canelo became a three-belt WBA, WBC and WBO champion, and only needed a completely undisputed IBF.

The 12-round super middleweight title fight will take place Saturday 6 November.
It will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Since it takes place in the US, fans in the UK can expect the main event to start around 5am on Sunday morning.
The confrontation will be for Canelo’s WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, The Ring middleweight titles, and Plante’s super middleweight title.
UK TV rights have not yet been confirmed, but it will be shown on FOX PPV in the US.

Discussions of the fight were originally a belated nuisance due to requests from the Mexican which representatives of the factory did not consider acceptable.
