Rrámuri community, the goal

Although the program is aimed at the entire audience, participants want to focus on providing knowledge to minors in marginalized areas.

This call is addressed to the general public, but in particular to populations that have historically been unprotected and have difficulty accessing information.Garza reported.

“Our main residents are the community of Rrámuri, because we know that here in Ciudad Juárez there is the Tarahumara neighborhood with primary and secondary schools.”

In addition to the program’s focus on the Rrámuri community in Chihuahua, the project is also seeking expansion into Yucatán.

To reach indigenous communities in the Sierra Tarahumara and Yucatan that do not have access to the Internet, the project creators collaborated with SEP schools in those sectors with Telesecundarias.

Garza indicated that the experiments will be recorded and the CDs and materials will be delivered to schools. They will also go to places like Batubillas or Guachoche to work on some of the experiences that will be broadcast live.

Some of the experiments that will be carried out are:

  • rib cage breathing
  • How to sew animals
  • How to make mosquito traps or biocides to eliminate pests
