The Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which has an annual capacity of 55 billion cubic meters, is scheduled for completion in August 2021.

Together with the Nord Stream gas pipeline, Nord Stream 2 will connect the coasts of Russia and Germany. The project was funded by six countries – Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Austria and the United Kingdom – and has been put on hold several times due to US sanctions.
