La Bicolor traveled to the United States on Thursday to play the friendly against El Salvador next Saturday at Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles. The confrontation will begin at 9:00 pm in Guatemala.
As he emphasized, the vaccination was not mandatory, as each member of the delegation made a personal decision to have it performed at the airport facilities. Similarly, there was another vaccination center in the hotel where they stayed.
On Friday, Guatemala will train in the United States to improve the details of the friendly match against El Salvador. The match will be a preparation for coach Amarini Filatoro to prepare for the matches on the way to the 2021 Gold Cup.
The first official match of the Guatemalan national team will be on July 3 against Guyana, at Inter Miami FC, from Florida, in the preliminary round. If he wins the duo title, he will face the winner of the match between Guadeloupe and the Bahamas on July 6.
The 2021 Gold Cup is the only official international tournament that Guatemala can play this year, after being excluded from the eighth final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
