The Bulgarian Parliament begins its work after the elections

According to tradition, the session was opened by the eldest MP, 73 years old, representative of the political party “There is Such a People”, Sylvie Kirillov.

In his speech, he asked everyone in the room to act reasonably on behalf of the Republic.

The low voter turnout showed that Bulgarian voters want change. The task of political societies is to implement these changes, guided by national interests. He said: It is time for us to come to our senses.

Kirillov was the first to take the oath of loyalty to Bulgaria, which was then repeated by the rest of the parliamentarians.

The official meeting was attended by President Rumen Radev, Prime Minister of the Technical Government Dimitar Glavchev, other members of the Cabinet of Ministers, politicians and public figures, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.

I hope that the 50th National Assembly will work for the benefit of the state and society. Radev said in a press conference that the main task of every deputy is to maintain peace and ensure the security of the country and Bulgarian citizens.

These statements were made by the leaders of all political societies represented in Parliament.

In the first, representatives must elect the Speaker and his deputies.
