Tampico. – On Wednesday and Thursday, the southern region of Tamaulipas hosted dozens of high school and high school students from Tamaulipas and the Republic of Mexico, during the first national event “CONALEP Entrepreneurship Summer Camp 2024” and the Tamaulipas State Science and Engineering Fair (FECIT).
During these activities, I highlight the creativity and ingenuity of young people who are in the process of training their professional and productive lives, highlight the interest in contributing to environmental care, better habits that promote a better quality of life for people and covering or facilitating the needs of society through various technological tools.
In the municipality of Madero, students from 20 states of the Republic of Mexico will present the best innovation and technology projects developed by CONALEP students as part of the strengthening and promotion of the Entrepreneurship Program, to generate job opportunities among students of this educational system.
While in the municipality of Tampico, more than 169 students, accompanied by their upper secondary and higher education advisors, present their projects at the Tamaulipas State Science and Engineering Fair (FECIT), organized by COTACYT, the national network of government councils and organizations in the state of Tamaulipas. AC Science and Technology, Autonomous University of Tamaulipas and Tamaulipas State Government.
The top 6 projects (3 from upper secondary education and 3 from tertiary) with the highest scores will represent Tamaulipas at the Mexican Science and Engineering Fair (FEMECI 2025) in Chihuahua.
Through these actions, the state government, led by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya, seeks to promote scientific and technological research among young people in the various educational systems in Mexico, as well as to promote scientific and entrepreneurship careers, which guarantee better well-being for the youth of Tamaulipas, thus promoting the educational transformation and productive sector with better Professionals.
These spaces were attended by educational authorities at the federal, state and municipal levels, as well as chambers of commerce and businessmen, in addition to the educational community for upper secondary and higher education.
